Shirt: Voile
In the light voile fabric Mehraan is a panelled shirt with extensive jaali embroidery work in a complex design inspired by Kashmiri work. The composed sleeves continue the intricate embroidery throughout the silhouette, the lace trimmed neckline and the soft, delicate shell buttons provide refinement and softness. The edges of sleeves and hem are frayed, adding a nice handcrafted touch, which is a nice contrast to the traditional embroidery. Detailed, but easy to wear, Mehraan adds texture and craftsmanship to a graceful, everyday form.
